I remember the vehicles being more fun in the prequel or maybe it's just Arkham knight making any other vehicle control feel lacking. I ended up barely transforming as the controls felt cumbersome and slow. The robot's vehicle forms took a back sit in this one. ![]() Megatron is just bad ass and destroys everyone with his default canon. They all play differently and were a good choice of characters for the decepticons. The Combaticons chapter features a group of decepticons I did not know about. Jazz moves fast and can use a grappling hook that makes traversal a joy. ![]() My favorite chapters were Jazz, the Combaticons and Megatron ones. Contrary to the prequel which had 2 different campaigns for each side (autobots/decepticons), this one consists of a lengthy campaign which has you controlling different characters from Bumblebee to Megatron. High Moon did a fantastic job, creating a non stop action game. Cutscene have a lot of hiccups but the gameplay was fairly smooth except for the weird loading locations. Not much work was done to take advantage of the hardware which is not surprising coming from an Activision port. ![]() I was playing the xbox one version which is a last gen port. ![]() Being a transformers fan, I am a little bit biased but the games received good reviews when it came out. I just finished my first 2018 game and it was a pretty fun.
